How to Assign a Service Schedule to an Equipment
Service Schedules
Service Schedules allow you to create Work Orders that track recurring maintenance services such as 90 day inspections, annual inspections, or engine services. You can also add or create a checklist to each Work Order to ensure compliance with service requirements.
Scheduling and Grouping
Set schedules to repeat/recur either:
By days (e.g., every 90 days)
By hours / meters (e.g., every 500 hours or 10,000kms)
Or both (time and usage whichever condition is reached first)
These schedules can be grouped together to overlap through Service Schedule Group
When a higher‑level service (e.g., an annual inspection) is completed, it overrides any lower‑level service (e.g., a 90‑day inspection) within the same group.
e.g., if a 90 day service is due but an annual inspection is performed, the 90‑day service is considered covered and will reschedule to the next 90 day.
To prevent one service from overriding another, place it in a separate group.
e.g., an electrical test & tag schedule can be kept in its own group so it isn’t overridden by 90‑day or annual inspections.
Creating the Service Schedule
Service Schedules can be set at three levels: Class > Model > Equipment.
We recommend to start broad at the Class level, then add more specific checklists at the Model or Equipment level, if required.
