How to Change Equipment on Rent

This function is meant to be used in instances of administrative error only, where the wrong Equipment Number has been recorded as going out on hire to a customer. This function will change the Equipment Number on the Rental Contract detail line as well as any related transports, inspections, invoices and meter readings. You should double check the meter readings of both equipment afterwards.

If you are changing the Equipment on hire due to a breakdown or service, then you should probably use the Equipment Swap function.
