When a customer approves a rental quote rather than copying the information over to a rental contract, the user can simply convert the rental quote to a rental contract. This will copy all of the information from the rental quote and create a new rental contract. You do not require equipment serial numbers to convert a rental quote to a rental contract.

For a rental quote to be converted to a rental contract the rental quote header status needs to be Quoted.

When converted the rental contract number, converted by and converted date will be visible in the rental quote. The rental quote status will change to converted, and the rental contract status will be reserved.
